What Is the Panhandle Health District?

The Panhandle Health District is one of seven public health districts in Idaho responsible for protecting public health, that is, the health of the masses. Click About Us to read more about Idaho's health districts and see the counties each district covers.

To prevent disease, disability and premature death; to promote healthy lifestyles; and to protect the health and quality of the environment.

 

PHD's Goals

A healthy population now and in the future through healthful living, clean air and water, disaster preparedness and the prevention of the spread of disease.
