Jeanne Bock
Director
Panhandle Health District

Board of Health

As your local public health district, we are educating the public to immunize infants and children, drink safe water, eat safe food, buckle up, place infants in safety seats while driving, practice abstinence before you are married, and be a non-smoker. We are inspecting and monitoring community water and food supplies and partnering with local, state, and federal agencies as well as others in the community in the disposal of solid and hazardous wastes.

We are immunizing, counseling, educating, screening, diagnosing, and caring for children, their families, and the elderly in collaboration with other health care and social services providers in the community. Our primary role is to assess the health of the community, assure access to high quality preventive health care services, and develop policies for the promotion and protection of the public's health.

We are your local resource for health protection and promotion. We are actively building partnerships to work with and for the communities we serve. It is my hope that this Information Website will further advance health in Idaho's Panhandle as well as our neighboring states and provinces.
