Our children are the future. They deserve the best start to life and Panhandle Health District can help you make that happen. We provide the Child Care Resource Center with information you need when choosing your child's home away from home.
Child Care Resources ensures that health and safety inspections are conducted for the licensing agencies of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and the city of Coeur d'Alene. The program also educates child-care providers on all aspects of child care.
PHD conducts Child Care Inspections to ensure providers meet state and local health and safety regulation.
PHD provides Developmental Monitoring--the Child Find program--so parents are aware early of any problems facing their children and the resources to help.
PHD's dental hygienist offers an Oral Health program to prevent decay that can lead to health problems.
