Panhandle Health District's water program has three branches:
- Non-Domestic Wastewater - any wastewater that is not produced as sanitary wastewater from restroom facilities, showers or kitchens;
- Public Water Systems - any system that provides water to at least 15 service connections or regularly serves at least 25 individuals daily at least 60 days of the year;
- Shallow Injection Wells - Drywells that are less than or equal to 18-feet deep.
