Family & Community Health

Lora Whalen
Director
Family & Community Health Division

The staff in the Family and Community Health section of Panhandle Health District is focused on providing services that will help you prevent health problems.

We provide consultation, education, clinics, and screening for health problems that can be prevented or improved by early detection and intervention.

Because we believe that it takes a community to keep a community healthy, we work in close cooperation with other community services: private medical services, pharmacies, social services, educational services, dental services, voluntary service organizations, local and state agencies.

We strive to facilitate access to medical care for persons who have been unsuccessful in finding health care. We provide services for all ages of people in our community, from newborns to the elderly.

If you have questions about our services, or wish further information, call us at one of our five offices in north Idaho.
