Septic systems are easy to ignore until they fail. Then

you realize how important they are to your daily life.

Here are common causes of septic system failures:

  • Infrequent septic tank pumping
  • Overuse of water--does your toilet run continuously?
  • improper construction
  • overuse of the garbage disposal
  • damage from excavation or vehicles driving over the system
  • undersized septic tank and drainfields
