April 18, 2006 PHD’s Health Promotion Division earns award from state
|
Panhandle Health District’s Health Promotion Division recently was honored for cooperative work it performs with the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare’s Bureau of Community and Environmental Health. The award was made in recognition of PHD’s “outstanding performance and lasting contribution to the Bureau of Community and Environmental Health". PHD’s Health Promotion Division was cited for going “above and beyond contractual obligations and expectations, they are passionate about public health and health promotion, have a very open communication style, work well with their community partners and are very willing to take on new initiatives or challenges.” The award was made Elke Shaw-Tulloch, Community and Environmental bureau chief, and presented by Jack Miller, H&W’s Project Filter program manager. |
