Symptoms include fever, dry cough, sore throat, body aches and malaise. Every year, flu kills 36,000 people in the United States and hospitalizes more than 200,000. Good prevention practices to accompany flu shots are regular hand-washing, covering your cough and sneezing into your sleeve. After Friday’s clinic, PHD will offer flu shots by appointment.
