Smoke-free housing is a growing trend across the state of Idaho and the nation. Going smoke-free offers many advantages to landlords. Studies show that residents prefer smoke-free housing. Property managers save money by preventing clean-up and replacement costs due to smoke damage. Smoke-free policies protect property. Residential smoking-related fires cause more injuries, deaths and expensive property damage than other types of residential fires.
