The Panhandle Health District's Women, Infants and Children program is an educational service designed to help women, infants and children with their nutrition needs.

Foods provided by the WIC program:

  • For women and children ages 1 to 5
    • Milk
    • Cheese
    • Iron-fortified hot or cold cereals
    • Fruit juice high in Vitamin C
    • Eggs
    • Dried beans or peas
    • Peanut butter
    • Salmon and tuna (breastfeeding moms)
